Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Record activity in the corporate CRM database and followup in a timely manner to analyze and resolve issues.
  • Handle inquiries regarding setup and configuration, authentication, and general networking issues.
  • Handle escalations from frontline technicians and Sales Engineers.
  • Perform weekly case reviews with frontline technicians.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and/or equivalent education/experience.
  • 3+ years network engineering/system administration experience or equivalent support experience required.
  • Strong customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a significant case load while maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work on a team as well as independently.
  • Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP and Internet protocols including WAN, routing, DNS, and HTTP.
  • Solid experience with network hardware including switches, hubs, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Previous administration experience with Exchange Server, DNS, LDAP, and strong handson system administration/network administration with Unix operating systems.
  • Handson System Administration/Network Administration experience with Windows client and server Operating systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL database schemas, administrative interface for HTTP browsers, and OAuth and NTLM/Kerberos single sign are all a plus.
  • Experience with Linux, UNIX, MacOS and Windows operating systems are all a plus.
  • Cisco (CCNA) or Microsoft (MCSE) certifications highly desirable.
