Driven Content Creation:
Partner with content teams to produce engaging content that aligns with targeted keywords and campaign objectives. Manage the blog strategy and ensure content is optimized for search engines and user intent

SEO:

Develop and implement strategies to improve local search visibility, including optimizing Google My Business profiles and managing local citations.


  • Technical

SEO:
Analyze and address technical SEO issues, including site structure, URL optimization, redirects, broken links, canonicals and hreflang values. Collaborate with tech teams to optimize site architecture and speed to improve user experience and search engine crawlability.

  • Optimize product pages with targeted keywords and collaborate with product teams to ensure accurate and SEO-friendly product descriptions.
  • Digital Marketing Collaboration: Influence digital marketing strategies to improve return on ad spend (ROAS) through effective keyword strategy and insights. Collaboration with paid search (SEM) and social media teams (SMM) is an asset.
  • Create and present clear SEO reports using Looker/Adobe Studio, communicating insights to cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, preferably with enterprise, e-commerce and/or D2C brands.
  • SEO Knowledge: Deep understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and the ability to stay up-to-date with industry changes.
  • Technical
Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Shopify, WordPress), and basic HTML/CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript for technical SEO analysis and crawling is a strong asset.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and use insights to optimize SEO strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to creatively identify and solve SEO-related problems with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of recent updates like Helpful Content Update (HCU), Expertise-Experience-Authoritativeness-Trustworthiness (EEAT), and the influence of Generative AI on search.
