Are you passionate about empowering customers to reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Technical Services Specialist who possesses a strong business acumen, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills to enhance our Database services in Canada.

The role is integral to the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) within AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS). This team is committed to driving revenue and growth across a diverse range of customers, from small and mid-market accounts to large enterprises, including public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise to develop targeted sales strategies and enablement programs that empower field teams to effectively capture and advance opportunities.
  • Collaborate with industry teams to identify impactful workloads, such as Generative AI, that enhance our database offerings.
  • Engage directly with customers to align data and AI services with their business objectives.

Technical Leadership:

  • Maintain high technical standards for specialist artifacts and collaborate with GTM colleagues to provide insights that inform strategy.
  • Support field marketing initiatives by executing local technical events and customer engagements.
  • Guide an internal community of technical experts to foster knowledge sharing and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing distributed applications.
  • 7+ years of experience managing technical, customer-facing teams.
  • Proven track record in technical consulting and architecture with large-scale enterprises.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with executives and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
