About the job


The Sales Executive will work from the Canadian sales office in Oakville, ON, alongside the Sales Manager and Business Development Coordinator to help run the North American everyday business.

Will be asked to learn and take part in every piece of the current business.

Responsibilities

  • Help with sales and service for all accounts
  • Maintain and expand accounts through direct sales, prospecting, and demonstrations
  • Represent MARS ALMINUM AMERICA and its main suppliers in a positive, professional, and proactive manner
  • Take part in shows and sales calls
  • Provide customer service and facilitate order entry
  • Work closely with team to adapt to account and market needs
  • Research new trade show opportunities and work with team to push products across North America
  • Help with international logistics

Qualifications

  • A 4year bachelor's degree from an accredited college/institution in Business or related field
  • Worked in Aluminum Extrusions Sales
  • Achieved at least 2500 MT per year
  • Achieved an average Margin of at least $1200 per ton for Mill Finish Profiles above LME + Billet Premium on EXworks Delivery terms
  • Prospected and was able to win new customers.
  • Self motivated regardless of the commission, yet the commission fulfills their ambitions.
  • Worked well in teams and adapted to working remotely, as a good part of their job will be coordinating with our supplier in the Middle East and the remote mentality is needed for them to succeed
  • Ability to work as a selfstarter with direction and guidance.
  • It is important they promise to Trust and Respect, Be Honest and Transparent, Have Dedication to Quality, Diversify and Innovate and to grow together with the team as those are our core values.
  • Have examples where they walked the extra mile to satisfy customers. Service oriented person.
  • Have displayed a positive attitude towards COVID or other personal or market crisis.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
  • Dual language, English and French is a plus to help serve Quebec province.
