We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the VP Office of the Industrial Research Assistant Program. The Executive Assistant would be someone who shares our core values of integrity, excellence, respect and creativity.

Screening Criteria:

Education:

Successful completion of secondary school education according to provincial/territorial standards.

Experience:

  • Experience in providing administrative support services to a senior executive level.
  • Experience in managing and prioritizing all aspects of a senior level office including managing calendars and planning and scheduling meetings and related logistics.
  • Experience in coordinating travel arrangements, scheduling meetings and planning for hospitality, and processing the related financial transactions ensuring compliance to policy.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining administrative systems such as files, logs, and databases and ensuring compliance to classification standards (ie. Protected, secret, etc.) for records management purposes.
  • Experience in drafting and proofreading notes, memos, letters, and written materials.
  • Experience using MS Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Competency Profile(s):

Compensation:

From $60,143 to $70,963 per annum.

In addition, the incumbent who meets the language requirements will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
