Job Description:

Position Description:


The Business Process & Controls function at CPP Investments is responsible for the identification, investigation, and redesign of end-to-end business processes in Operations and selectively within other departments at CPP Investments.

The Manager will play a lead role in executing our process transformation strategy.

They will develop and manage improvement roadmaps for their assigned teams, redesign processes from an efficiency and control perspective and manage projects using Agile principles.


Role-Specific Accountabilities

Strengthen Business Processes at CPP Investments by:

  • Partner with senior leaders and facilitate workshops to identify high value improvement opportunities
  • Use process improvement and control principles to redesign critical business processes
  • Negotiate consensus on target state and document outcomes, including operating models and solution architecture
  • Manage change at various levels within the organization

Qualifications:

Position Requirements

Skills/Knowledge/Competencies/Capabilities

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or other related disciplines
  • Strong understanding of process improvement and controls principles is required
  • Consulting or audit experience is a strong asset
  • Lean Six Sigma certification and related experience is an asset
  • Project management and Agile training/certification is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fastpaced environment
  • Professional team player who can also work independently
  • Selfstarter who is resultsoriented, can seek out opportunities and pitch ideas to senior leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal / relationship skills works effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Technology fluent, ability to collaborate with software developers
  • Familiar with digital and lowcode tools including UiPath RPA, Mendix and AI/ML through vendor products
