The Look Company specializes in providing event and location branding solutions for Sport, Retail and Commercial customers globally, is looking to hire a Shipping Assistant.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the picking/packing of outgoing customer orders
- Assist with the processing of outgoing customer orders
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to support any other processes involved in the order fulfillment process
- Heavy lifting, use of forklift, pump truck, wrapping and strapping skids, loading unloading trailers
Core Competencies:
- Experience with forklift, pump truck, wrapping and strapping skids, loading unloading trailers.
- Previous experience with FedEx, Ups, Purolator, Knowledge in filling out shipping forms.
- Relentless attention to detail, accuracy and functionality; consistently demonstrate care and attention to the orders while managing the overall process
- Able to maintain standards and work at a fast pace in a warehouse environment
- Strong ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills; listening, writing and speaking
- Inventory management experience an asset
