At Modern Sales Co-op, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Barrie. As a key member of our distribution center, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Shipper with outbound freight, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Unload and move products and materials using material handling equipment, maintaining efficient turnaround times
  • Adhere to allocation processes to optimize warehouse flow and coordinate shipments
  • Pick customer orders accurately using RF Gun lists and/or manual ordering systems, meeting productivity standards
  • Review and correct shipping and receiving discrepancies
  • Perform general cycle counting processes
  • Prepare shipments and document using in-house software
  • Verify goods and compare orders with packing slips and purchase orders
  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with receiving documentation and paperwork as needed
  • Perform general warehouse duties and assist other departments as required
Requirements
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to bend, crouch, climb stairs, and safely use ladders to retrieve materials and products
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written English)
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
  • Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team
