Shared Services Canada (SSC) is modernizing how the Government of Canada manages its information technology (IT) infrastructure. The Department is mandated to deliver email, data centre and telecommunication services, including videoconferencing and Wi-Fi, to partner organizations.

Intent of the process

The intent of this inventory is to establish an anticipatory pool of partially qualified candidates that may be used to staff CR-05 and AS-01 positions with various status (term, indeterminate, assignment, secondment, deployment, acting) and with various linguistic profiles within Shared Services Canada (SSC).

The goal is to maintain an inventory of candidates for CR-05 and AS-01 opportunities within SSC across Canada.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education : A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position to be staffed.

Experience in providing *administrative or operational support services.

*Administrative or operational support services may include the performance of tasks such as planning and coordinating agendas, schedules and/or meetings for management, preparing documents (formatting), reviewing documents (quality control), coordinating correspondences, filing, writing meeting minutes, collecting data, manipulation and updating data, preparing spreadsheets, procurement activities such as purchasing, invoicing, material management, etc.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Assets experiences : nice to have but not essential
AEX1. Experience in the use of the following: word processing (for example, MS Word), spreadsheet (for example, Excel) and email software (for example, Outlook).
AEX2. Experience in data entry.
AEX3. Experience in human resources support services.
AEX4. Experience in researching, gathering and analyzing information.
AEX5. Experience interpreting and applying policies or procedures.
AEX6. Experience in coordination or administration of financial procedures (could include: monthly variance reporting, spreadsheets, invoice reconciliation, initiating purchasing, etc.).
AEX7. Experience using an electronic tasking or tracking system.
AEX8. Experience using an electronic document filing system.
AEX9. Experience in the physical or virtual organization of archival documents (information management).
