About the role:


As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the billing and collection process; you'll issue invoices to customers worldwide for our SaaS business.

You'll work cross-functionally with the operations team to establish financial processes to grow and scale our business from a billing perspective.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send invoices to customers
  • Monitor customer accounts for payments
  • Follow up on delinquent accounts and make collection calls
  • Maintain accurate records of billing and collection activities
  • Response to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment
  • Work with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any billing or payment issues
  • Prepare monthly billing and collection reports for management
  • Stay uptodate with industry regulations and compliance requirements (Sales taxes)
What you need to be successful in this role:

  • 3+ years of experience in billing and collection in a high-growth international company
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Performed a variety of monthend closing duties and A/R analysis
  • Strong customer service skills you pride yourself on building longlasting relationships with your clients
  • Previous experience with Salesforce (we consider this an asset)
  • A keen eye for detail this is probably due to your mathematical background
