About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Specialist to join our team at Corcentric. As a key member of our Credit, Collections, & Disputes team, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of business accounts and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate collection calls to business accounts to resolve payment disputes and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Research and resolve client billing problems, identifying root causes of account delinquency and implementing corrective actions.
- Review and monitor assigned accounts and collection reports, providing timely follow-up on payment arrangements and customer requests.
- Make recommendations to management regarding customer credit limits and collection strategies.
- Research and resolve customer deductions and maintain accurate records of customer communications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and French, both written and verbal.
- Relevant experience in a commercial, business-to-business (B2B) collections role.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level or above.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 software.
