Duties and Responsibilities:

The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Enrolment Management is a key leadership position at the University.

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that foster an inclusive and equitable admission process to attract and enroll a diverse student population.

The AVP will provide leadership and operational oversight of Carleton's enrolment management policies, services and units including Undergraduate Recruitment, Undergraduate Admissions, International Recruitment and Admissions, and Awards and Financial Aid ensuring alignment with the University's strategic goals.


Qualifications:

The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

  • Executive leadership practices in people management, strategic planning and risk management, policy development, financial management and stakeholder relationship management
  • Issues and trends at Carleton and in the higher education sector related to enrollment management, both Carleton and international
  • Contemporary best practices in enrolment management programs, service delivery models and enabling technologies
  • Knowledge is deployed to develop and lead a major functional area within the university

Education and Experience:

The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Master's degree will be preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of previous experience in progressive leadership roles.
