Job Title: Vice President, Sales

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive global sales growth and lead our sales team in Ottawa.

About the Role

The Vice President, Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed business objectives. This includes driving predictable, profitable global sales growth, and leading a highly motivated sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver annual and monthly global sales forecasts and results that meet or exceed defined profitability targets.
  2. Foster a reliable sales pipeline and manage a backlog through optimized sales, business development, and distribution strategies.
  3. Grow existing accounts and projects, and increase the company's market footprint by qualifying and profitably converting new opportunities.
  4. Lead, build, and mentor a highly motivated sales team, including developing and managing their compensation, training, and incentive plans.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in a channel-oriented, hardware-based, technology business, with at least 5 years of sales management experience.
  2. Successfully led a sales organization of >$40M/yr revenues with substantial US-based focus.
  3. Results-oriented, hands-on, adaptable style coupled with a willingness to learn.
Location and Travel

This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Ottawa, Canada. Business trips to visit our team, partners, and clients represent an approximate 30% travel commitment.
