Grocery Team Leader

Responsibilities

  • Work with Grocery Manager to improve store sales
  • Review merchandising by sales of products
  • Answer customers' questions about products
  • Support customers in any situation of emergency and accident and inform manager/supervisor immediately
  • Ensure and maintain safe working conditions that meet health department standards
  • Ensure grocery shelves are maintained clean, full, organized and appealing
  • Setup store displays throughout the store to increase sales
  • Conduct periodic thorough cleaning of displays, equipment and floor
  • Check inventory and rotation activities to reduce damages and expired products
  • Receive grocery items delivery and confirm the accuracy of both order and invoice, then send products to store or warehouse at the right place
  • Support and train the new team members relating with the grocery department procedures and guidelines
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask, work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Able to move, lift and carry a minimum of 2050lbs
  • Flexible to work day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts as required
  • Able to stand and walk around for long periods at a time

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
