As a sales leader with a proven track record, you will collaborate closely with customers and senior leaders to make a significant impact. The Business Development Manager will take charge of driving sales through new business opportunities and maximizing revenue with existing customers. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, developing sales strategies for revenue and profit growth.

  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from strategic planning to identifying opportunities, cold calling to closing contracts, ensuring profitable revenue growth for Trenton Cold Storage.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for specific markets and customized service offerings, enhancing revenue generation and expanding the customer base.
  • Expand existing transportation relationships and explore new avenues to gain a competitive advantage in the logistics provided to our customers.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge, keeping updated on market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities. Build relationships with top customers and address issues as needed.
  • Travel to all TCS sites across Canada, attend trade shows, and visit customer sites as necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process effectively, from planning to closing deals.
  • Preferably extensive experience in warehousing, food, and logistics industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using Sales CRM.
  • Language proficiency in English; French is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel based on business requirements.
