Sanuvox Technologies Inc. is looking for an experienced, energetic, and flexible individual for the role of Business Development Manager in Ontario reporting to the Director, Marketing and Sales.

The successful candidate will focus on business development in the commercial, institutional, and residential markets. He/She will have experience in dealing with the ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) installers and contractors. The mandate is to serve current customers and introduce Sanuvox to new potential distributors as qualified partner in air and surface purification with UVC solutions (UVGI). The company is active in Canada, the US, and several additional countries for more than 25 years.

The main function is to develop new business across urban markets in Ontario. You will be responsible for presenting Sanuvox Technologies product lines and developing sectors according to the company's strategic plan. This role will be in collaboration with other business development managers across North America and supported by the marketing team that can provide lead generation assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development and Prospecting

  • Focus on developing new business.
  • Identify potential customers and industries where UV filtration systems can have a significant impact.
  • Build a strong list of prospects and prioritize leads for sales efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, facility managers and building owners.
  • Ensure presentation and meeting objectives.
  • Make innovative contributions to differentiate ourselves.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to customize solutions based on customer needs.
  • Work closely with the management team in strategies, market development, problem-solving and providing feedback.
  • Participate in relevant promotional events and activities, as required.

Pipeline Management

  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Track sales activities, update CRM systems, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Forecast sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.

Training/Experience/Certification

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Science
  • 5 years experience in sales and business development

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of HVAC products and systems, specifically HVAC air flow and wiring diagrams and systems, a significant asset.
  • Experience working with engineering firms contributing to technical equipment specification.
  • Experience developing and presenting business solutions to clients.
  • Autonomous and results driven.
  • Dynamic personality and business acumen;
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to create high-caliber proposals and presentations.
  • Computer skills to effectively use Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint.
  • 2+ years experience in managing tasks and customer communications with CRM system (ex. Pipedrive).
  • Effective English language communication both orally and in writing.
  • Able to effectively use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Possesses and maintains a valid driver's license, a suitable vehicle and business-type liability insurance.
  • Ontario resident
