Vanko, Analytical & Instrumentation Specialists, a top supplier of process and analytical instruments, has been serving industrial markets since 1988. Vanko offers an array of services, including system integration/design, project commissioning, training, field service, shop repair, and sales.

Specializing in level and density instrumentation, interface measurements, water cut meters, oil in water measurement, gas detection, flow measurement, flare measurement, and environmental instrumentation, Vanko caters to sectors like Oil and Gas, Chemical, Pulp and Paper, Municipal Water, Waste Water, and Manufacturing.

Bilingual fluency in French and English is a plus due to our nationwide presence.

The ideal candidate for the Inside Technical Sales Representative role should possess a sales background with technical knowledge in Instrumentation Engineering Technology or related fields. Vanko offers an attractive salary and compensation package.

Position Description: This role involves collaborating with our Inside Sales Department and reporting to the Inside Sales Coordinator.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with customers, end users, and engineering firms to offer equipment proposals and technical assistance.
  • Specifying instrumentation and analytical equipment.
  • Supporting outside sales teams by providing pricing and technical details.
  • Coordinating with manufacturers to specify instrumentation, manage deliveries, and oversee the sales process.
  • Handling pricing, technical inquiries, and participating in large-scale projects for companies in Western Canada.

Skills:

  • Bilingual fluency is preferred.
  • Experience in level and flow instrumentation, gas detection, safety measures, and analytical instrumentation is advantageous.
  • Dynamic personality with strong networking skills.
  • Proficiency in using ACT CRM for scheduling and managing projects.
  • Collaboration with Product Managers and Manufacturer Regional Managers to promote products.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in inside technical sales, with a focus on the oil & gas sector. Instrumentation background is desirable.
