Are you a focused individual with the ability of providing a broad range of operational support to the Credit Underwriting function including credit processing and transactions activities? Do you want to be a backbone of our Credit Underwriting team by supporting business partners and the credit function by collecting, reviewing and analyzing all credit documentation for accuracy and adherence to all regulatory requirements? As
Credit Assistant II, you will:


  • Provide guidance and support to business partners or customers on credit products offered in a business line or product suite and/or within authorization limit
  • Support partner relationships and be responsible for providing operational and/or credit processing activities to ensure business objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Ensure complete and accurate data input into the origination system assisting the preparation of loan documentation
  • Prioritize and handle own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
  • Support various business partners and credit areas by either collecting / reviewing / analyzing all credit documentation for accuracy, adherence to all regulatory requirements, review of all requested approval conditions associated with a credit facility prior to funding and etc.
  • Work autonomously within established procedures and/or is responsible for credit activities involving multiple steps, systems, and jurisdictions
  • Require advanced skills and expertise in a range of credit products and services, processes, procedures and systems in a set of focus areas, where transactions could be characterized by moderate risk
  • May develop spreading of financials statements to forecast future financial statements
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and collaboration and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Support the team by continuously improving knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
  • Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team
Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or Undergraduate degree and/or over 1 year of relevant experience
  • Entry level knowledge of business unit and operational functions
  • Proficient in using Windows and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • An ambitious person, good listener and great thinker with strong communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills to multitask and adapt to change in a fastpaced environment with a positive approach to coordinate with employees regularly
  • A highenergy Individual who can exercise initiatives with mínimal discretion and be thorough, accurate, and detail oriented to handle several tasks and changing priorities
Proficiency in Other than French


This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support or deal with customers who require services and support in a language other than French.
