Position Summary:


As a national leader in the service of smallwares and equipment, United Trimen is innovating in this space and looking for a driven, entrepreneurial and analytical Account Manager, Sales.

Based at United Trimen, North York, Ontario, this position will report to the National Sales Manager.

You will maintain regular contact with an established portfolio of accounts while seeking new opportunities that may exist in the market.

In addition to your account development work, you will also be responsible for contract compliance, sales growth, and margin maintenance.

You will also be the liaison between the customer, our internal team here at United Trimen and GFS.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and accountrelated issues, ensuring unified communication.
  • Engage with external customers to exchange information and solutions aligned with United Trimen's objectives.
  • Execute sales strategy to acquire new accounts, expand existing ones, and promote GFS products.
  • Cultivate relationships with customers at various levels.
  • Coach and develop Account Coordinators to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate on customer issues and projects.
  • Schedule and conduct account reviews, develop action plans.
  • Forecast sales and set goals.
  • Coordinate strategic account activity and engage senior leadership.
  • Review reports for compliance and profitability.
  • Utilize profitability models for negotiations.
  • Source and convert new products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role within the food industry.
  • Prior food service experience is essential, with sales experience being an asset.
  • Demonstrated success in contract negotiation.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong collaborative skills.
  • Proficiency in French language is an asset.
