Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pmType: Hybrid (2 or 3 days on site)

SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing queues, sending out documents and checking documents to meet banking compliance standards, attend team meetingsDescription:

The Business Signing Officer:
Opens new commercial deposit accountsProcesses account change requests for existing commercial deposit accounts (i.e. change in signing authority)Opens additional accounts for existing customers via Letter Of DirectionObtain/compile required supporting documentationFollows AML, regulatory & legal compliance requirementsJob RequirementsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high volume environmentEnsure Service Level Agreements are adhered to at all timesAbility to work efficiently to meet individual and team driven benchmarksBe conscientious and detail oriented in order to mitigate any risk to the bankAbility to review and understand complex legal documentsDemonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment to provide quality customer serviceMust demonstrate the ability to be resourceful and proactive in their approach to Partner and Customer Problem ResolutionStrong oral and written communication skills are essentialAbility to work closely in a team environmentUnderstand and apply operating policies and proceduresAbility to take ownership of a situationAbility to quickly learn new systems and applicationsCustomer service experience considered an asset

MUST HAVE:
1. Fast-paced, multitasking, work well under pressure2. Basic understanding of AML Compliance3.

Computer Savvy – MS Suites Excel:
basic understanding4. Typing speed min 60-65 wpm5. Previous admin work/ previous Ops officer work – 2+ years6. Strong oral and written communication skills

NICE TO HAVE:
1. Banking Experience/ Previous financial institution2. Knowledge of Host applications and C3 considered an asset3. Bilingual – French

EDUCATION:
high school required. post-secondary would be an asset. 2+ years' experience.
