Sales Development Representative (SDR)


Sherpa is hiring an SDR with outstanding writing and presentation skills to work on closing the leads generated by our soon-to-be-hired BDR.

You will also work on developing and maintaining effective SEO and content programs for our cutting-edge and highly customized solutions.

We operate in a niche market where prospects are swamped with offers and requests from all sorts of vendors. We need to make every interaction with them valuable and relevant.

Your Role and Responsibilities


Reporting to the Director of Sales & Business Development, you will be part of a new team, as our CEO primarily handled sales until recently.

Sherpa is now at that pivotal stage where we need a dedicated sales team to further our growth, and you'll be a founding member of this new chapter.


Responsibilities

  • Using a strategic approach to selling, you will use your expertise to qualify, prepare demonstrations, give demonstrations and help with contracts and negotiations of new sales opportunities within a set of assigned accounts.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Perform flawless tracking of your files and keep them up to date in our CRM (Hubspot).
  • Contribute to developing and establishing best practices and tools to refine our sales process playbook.
  • Relay any information and collaborate with our other teams to improve our offer and positioning, including client pain points, typical contract negotiation pushback areas, customer feedback, etc.

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • 5 years of B2B sales experience with a history of exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience and working knowledge of SEO and content programs.
  • Experience and working knowledge of LinkedIn for sales development.
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems (we use Hubspot)
  • Native/Bilingual proficiency in English
  • Conversational proficiency in French
  • Capacity to travel abroad (Authorized to travel to the US and have a valid passport and travel documents)
  • Can work from the office once or twice a week.

Responsabilités
