The Enrollment Services Assistant Officer will be responsible for facilitating the students' enrollment process and providing exceptional customer service On Campus for prospective students at Toronto School Management.
In addition, the officer may collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth transition for students entering the Toronto School of Management institution.
Finally, the Enrollment Services Assistant aims to smooth the enrollment experience, contributing to a positive and efficient student onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive assistance to prospective students regarding enrollment requirements.
- Review students' profiles and ensure adherence to established enrollment criteria and standards.
- Keep student records current by reviewing Student Portal updates, Enrollment Services Mailbox, and internal trackers, among others. Also, follow through on any missing or incomplete documentation for each student.
- Ensure accuracy of student records, guaranteeing confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Liaise with other departments such as Admissions, Finance, Academics, and Recruitment to address students' inquiries and provide a smooth enrollment experience.
- Address student concerns, provide efficient solutions to enrollment issues/ complaints in accordance with internal and external procedures, and escalate complex matters to the Enrollment Services Leadership Team when necessary.
- Employ the Student Management System, internal trackers, and other enrollment materials effectively to handle student information, track registration progress, and enroll prospective students.
- Ensure compliance with health insurance policy and enrollment requirements.
- Contribute to the strengthening of the enrollment process by providing suggestions for improvements and participating in the development of guides and procedures.
- Provide exemptional customer service to prospective students by creating a welcoming and supportive environment for those who require enrollment assistance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Availability to work from 3 to 5 days a week on TSoM Campus (22 College St, Toronto ON M5G 1K2)
- Minimum 1year experience working in an educational environment and/or with international students.
- Minimum 1year experience in customer service.
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. A second language will be considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent timemanagement skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Working Conditions:
