Our Red Chris operation is now recruiting for the position of Coordinator - Mobile Maintenance with a competitive base salary between $,.00 - $,.00 dependant on experience, skills, and qualifications, with an additional short term incentive of 15%. The offered base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills and competencies with consideration to internal equity.

We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.

Purpose of the Role

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the management and tracking of site materials for maintenance activities to ensure all parts are available and staged properly as per the Red Chris' Material Management Processes. The Material technician provides a key accountable link to between the Business Support Team (Purchasing, Supply Chain, Planning) and Maintenance Execution Teams.

Accountabilities

Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with Newcrest Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Policies & Procedures and encourage others Do not tolerate, accept, or walk past non-compliance to safety standards, procedures, guidelines, and rules Ensure the safety of yourself and all other personal under your control Maintain a safe workplace compliant with regulations and Newcrest policies, procedures, and standards Prompt reporting of all incidents and or hazards

Material Management

Provide support to the Planning & Maintenance Execution teams regarding material management and acquisition. Provide support in critical breakdowns by ensuring the most efficient supply of materials to site Setting up Kitting & Staging areas for materials required for future works Consolidate direct purchase parts in a manner which can be easily tracked and audited Ensure that the size of the direct purchase kitting & staging areas are within manageable limits by liaising with the planners/scheduler to identify jobs which are ready to be put into the weekly schedule. Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of materials Assist the execution team regarding urgent material requests View materials in a W, W and 52W forecast Management of Rotables in accordance to Newcrest process, including ensuring are rotables are returned to the warehouse every week Setting up process for returning unused parts to the site warehouse Provide planners with a list of returned parts to the warehouse so that task lists can be amended thereby improving planning accuracy & reduce double handling

Additional responsibilities related to Shutdown Material Management:

Full compliance with Newcrest's Shutdown Framework and related documents, standards guidelines, and milestones

Material Master Data

Understanding what the business process is for adding new materials to the warehouse and adding existing stock to the warehouse Creation and submission of ANSI's Collaborate with maintenance & operations stakeholders to understand equipment & part criticality

Leadership

Actively look for and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and cost effectiveness Maintain high levels of communication with team members and stakeholders Understand and monitor KPI's to drive compliance and assist with budget and cost control processes Ability to manage SAP transactional and master data to Newcrest Asset Management guidelines

Certification in Warehousing, Supply chain (Desired) Journeyperson Parts technician (required) Proficient with MS Windows and Office products (Essential) Working knowledge of SAP PM and MM (Essential) Mining and/or industrial experience – 5 years (Desired) Forklift certification (Desired)
