- The Police Administration Department is looking is hiring a regular fulltime Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to work at the RCMP Detachment.
Responsibilities - The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for identifying and obtaining police vehicle maintenance and repairs, performing minor repairs, scheduling vehicle availability, liaising with service suppliers and maintaining a parts inventory, transporting vehicles, assessing repair work, and preparing and maintaining records of vehicle maintenance expenditures
Requirements:
- The successful applicant will have completed Grade 12 and will possess related work experience in automotive service or repair, familiarity with purchasing methods and procedures, and valid Class 5 BC Driver's License. In addition, knowledge of RCMP policies, practices and procedures applicable to the work performed and computer literacy would be assets.
Compensation
Hours of Work
- The position works any eight (8) consecutive hours, exclusive of an unpaid one hour meal break, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. The City of North Vancouver currently works on a compressed work schedule, with one scheduled day off each threeweek scheduling cycle.
Additional Information - You will also be required to obtain and maintain an RCMP security clearance as a condition of ongoing employment.
