The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be instrumental in shaping our digital presence and enhancing our brand's visibility.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, developing and implementing digital marketing strategies and media, creating marketing materials and content, and managing social media platforms.


How to Apply:

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement a cohesive digital marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility, grow engagement and generate sales across social media platforms and brand websites.
  • Strategically capture photos and videos to produce compelling content that enhances brand engagement and storytelling across various digital platforms.
  • Work with our Brand and Design Lead to create and curate engaging content, including texts, images, reels and videos, tailored for different platforms to drive traffic and sales.
  • Manage digital marketing calendar to ensure regular posting, engagement, and growth.
  • Manage the DTC brand's website with relevant and recent content and campaigns to engage our target customer audience.
  • Manage SEO efforts to increase web traffic and drive conversion.
  • Monitor, track, and report on social media and ecommerce analytics, using insights to refine strategies and increase effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the R&D and digital transformation team to understand product innovations and translate technical details into consumerfriendly content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Manage social media ad campaigns, including budget allocation, target audience segmentation, and ad performance analysis.
  • Engage with online communities, respond to support tickets, and monitor customer reviews.
  • Build and manage online assets for events, ensuring effective promotion and optimization of signup processes to maximize attendance and engagement for all company events.
  • Support the planning and execution of industry conferences, trade shows, and events, including coordinating logistics, booth design, and promotional materials.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and customer preferences to keep our brands ahead of the curve.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in digital marketing, content creation, digital advertising and ecommerce within the biotech, life science or agriculture industry.
  • Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok), and website building and ecommerce technologies, especially Wix and Shopify.
  • Proficient in digital marketing metrics and tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SEO and website optimization.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools that can optimize marketing functions.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences across various platforms.
  • Creative mindset with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.


The aim of the Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) program is to boost the capacity to advance digital innovations and accelerate Canada's position as a world leader in the ever-evolving knowledge economy by helping underemployed post-secondary graduates enhance and develop digital and soft skills through work and training opportunities.

To qualify for this Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) program, (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada), you must meet the following criteria:

  • Between 15 and 30 at the start of employment.
  • Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
  • Postsecondary graduate.
  • Must not have participated in the Digital Skills for Youth program before.
  • Must be able to selfidentify as underemployed (employed below level of education, unemployed or employed parttime working less than 30 hours a week).
Contract length: 8 months with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Compensation:
$24.00 per hour for 37.5 hours per week.
