Canadian Blood Services is looking for a
Regular full-time
Scheduler/Timekeeper to join our dynamic
Donor Relations & Collections East team.


The
Donor Relations & Collections East team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by collecting donor blood in a safe manner to enable safe products which save lives every day.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and creating work schedules and completing associated scheduling and timekeeping functions that meet operational needs.

These functions will be performed in accordance with Canadian Blood Services policies.

Formula for success:

  • Drawing on your knowledge or experience in scheduling, you will assess and plan staffing as well as schedule staff for training as required.
  • You will prepare, maintain and post work.
  • Leveraging your timekeeping experience, you will perform timekeeping entries.
  • Utilizing your superior interpersonal and communication skills you will.
  • You will arrange for accommodations for staff travelling to mobiles.

Desired education and skills:

  • Completion of postsecondary education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably one year in Payroll/Office.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in related position preferably in a regulated environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical skills including Microsoft Excel, Share Point and Office 365. SAP knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in an integrated multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated skills in creative and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to establish priorities and organize workload.
