Job Title: Timekeeper - Sensplex Facilities (Part-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Timekeeper to join our team at Sensplex Facilities. As a Timekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of timekeeping and scorekeeping for games held at our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately start and stop the clock, add goals, penalties, and change periods using the timeclock.
  • Record goals, assists, and penalties on the provided game sheet.
  • Transpose information from the game sheet into online statistics software using the provided iPad.
  • Announce goals, assists, penalties, and other scripts as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Play music during warm-ups and stoppages.
  • Communicate critical issues to the supervisor by radio, such as injuries, major penalties, ejections, and schedule issues.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:

As a Timekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas covered by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) are adhered to, specifically:

  • Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability (AODA), Customer Service Standards
  • AODA, the Integrated Accessibility Standards
  • Ontario Worker Health and Safety Awareness
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
  • WHMIS 2015 (GHS)
  • Violence and Harassment in the Workplace
Requirements:
  • Must be 15 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with the rules of hockey is an asset.
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset.
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain a strong work ethic.
