Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Assistant to join our team at TAG HR. As a Senior Family Law Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in family law cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal documents for family law cases.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, scheduling meetings, and handling confidential information.
  • Prepare and organize court documents and correspondence for court filings.
  • Conduct family law research and summarize findings.
  • Manage attorney's calendar, scheduling consultations, court dates, appearances, and other events.
  • Assist with billing, including timekeeping, invoices, and payment follow-ups.
  • Prepare for mediations and trials, organizing exhibits and trial binders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in Family Law.
  • A diploma in a relevant field, such as an Associate's degree or Paralegal certificate.
  • Knowledge of Family Law procedures and terminology.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal research software, including DivorceMate, Clio, NexisLexis, and eFileCA.
