Manager, Reporting and Analysis

What is the opportunity?

Physical Network Strategy is responsible for the strategy and execution of the Canadian Banking physical network (branches and ATMs). The
Reporting & Analytics team develops the high level strategy for the physical distribution channel investment including planning, governance, business case development and post-execution performance reporting, as well as managing data requirements and analytics to support Physical Network Strategy initiatives.


RBC is recruiting for a
Manager - Reporting & Analysis temporary role to backfill a 1 year maternity leave vacancy.

In this position you will leverage your financial, excel, and analytical skillset to support the physical distribution network strategies including supporting reporting of expenditures against budgets, business case development and financial analysis.


What will you do?

  • Support the timely and accurate reporting of expenditures relating to various distribution programs
  • Supporting governance / capital management of all physical distribution investments
  • Assist in the preparation of financial models and related business case documents supporting project recommendations

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Very strong attention to detail, prioritizing data integrity, completeness and accuracy in all activities
  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial analysis and modelling
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross functional environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to simultaneously and independently manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Familiarity with EPM and/or SAP an asset
  • Degree and experience in finance an asset

Nice-to-have

  • Broad understanding of bank channel economics, bank physical distribution, and real estate
