  • Work closely with senior management to understand business plans and assess Securities Clearing processes, systems, and resources.

  • Manage and develop staff for efficient operations and goal achievement.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance by developing and executing business objectives.
  • Maintain effective organizational structure and adhere to management controls.
  • Resolve operational problems and prevent recurrence.
  • Stay informed about industry changes and forecast their impact.
  • Develop and implement strategies for change, including training sessions.
  • Provide input to manuals and procedures.
  • Interact with senior executives on operational issues.
  • Understand securities markets and industry standards.

  • 5-8 years experience of financial services experience.
  • Familiarity with Securities Operations' processes, systems, and controls across multiple locations.
  • Understanding of Bank policies, global securities regulations, and industry standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of global Securities Operations systems including Broadridge (ADP), GLOSS, ICi-Impact, ION, and Project Management methodologies (waterfall and agile).
  • Proficiency in MMI, ANVIL, Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS), Depository Trust Company (DTCC), Paramax-Arrow, and various Central Securities Depositories and Global Custodians (Clearstream, Euroclear, Bank of New York Mellon, etc.).
  • Strong general management skills encompassing leadership, coaching, team building, decision-making, prioritization, and human relations to navigate change and motivate resources effectively.
  • Organizational and conceptual abilities to establish clear process flows and set SMART objectives, managing change efficiently.
  • Adaptability to ongoing operational and client-related changes, adept at dynamically creating and managing change.
