The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Settlement Administrator to join our Operations team.


Your role will be required to regularly perform essential duties on behalf of the company from your assigned Aviso office.

Your role is considered medium flexibility, requiring you to work onsite 1-3 days per week at our office at 151 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON.


Reporting to the Supervisor, Settlement Services the Settlement Administrator is responsible for duties relating to the reconciliation and settlement of transactions on the IIROC platform as well as the settlement of foreign securities.

This may include equities, fixed income & equity option transactions.

There may be a requirement to work on a statutory holiday or weekend.

What your day looks like:

  • Reconciliation of Clearing account
  • Settlement of client transactions
  • Administrative trade processing
  • Process client FX transactions
  • Ensure to follow the policy and procedures manual, as set out for the Settlement Services team, and revised as needed
  • Other duties as assigned as needed

Requirements:

Your experience and skills:

  • Postsecondary education in business or commerce is preferred
  • 1+ year experience in an office environment within the securities industry
  • Ability to work independently to achieve required objectives
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong organizational, time management and administrative skills
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
