What we're looking for


RCGT Consulting is seeking an Accounting Administrator who will be a dedicated, a team-player and out -of the box thinker to join our team.

This role will report to the Financial Controller.

A day in the life

  • Purchases, payable and payment processes:_
  • Completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Ensuring outstanding balances are updated with credit memos (payments posted in accounting system) that are due
  • Completing payments to employees verifying expense reports using companyspecific accounting software
  • Troubleshoot various systems
  • Maintaining historical records of all invoices, reports, receipts, and cheques by saving documents properly on the network
  • Assisting other department in preparing invoices to the customers and accounts receivable related
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Production and payroll processes:_
  • Prepare payroll report in excel master file
  • Enter hours in payroll system
  • Prepare payrollrelated reports
  • Prepare payroll reconciliation
  • File WSIB
  • Post journal entries and calculate payroll allocation
  • Issue ROE
  • Maintain employees' payroll files
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Financial statements process:_
  • Post monthly recurring journal entries'
  • Assist with production of supporting schedules
  • Reconcile trial balance accounts to subledger accounts
  • Perform ad hoc tasks during working day as assigned
