Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager the Marketing Intern/Co-Op is responsible for assisting the Marketing Team with event & project coordination, marketing reporting and asset creation and proofing.
What You Will Do

Event & Project Coordination - 50% of role
- Assist in booking restaurants & hotel rooms, transportation, evening events
- Photoshoot location research, booking and coordinating
- Product ordering for tradeshow, customer events and photo shoot
- Sales tool distribution to over 40 locations in US and 12 in Canada
- Budget tracking, PO generation
Marketing Reporting - 20% of role
- Social Media post tracking & monitoring
- Paid Media advertising tracking & monitoring
- Competitive analysis of marketing activities, product launches, social posts
Marketing Asset Creation & Proofing - 30% of role
- Assist in creating and writing content for quarterly enewsletters
- Create new content for digital "brag book"
- Assist in providing new content for paid media advertising
- Assist with website content proofing, marketing collateral proofing, new product launch communication proofing
What You Will Bring
- Registered in a business or commerce coop program at an Ontario accredited university or college.
- Demonstrated success in planning and coordinating events
- Strong organization and planning skills with ability to lead initiatives from inception through to implementation
- Keen eye for detail
- Project management and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Some digital marketing experience would be an asset
- Hardworking ethics who is resultsoriented with a focus on continuous improvement
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- High degree of initiative and motivation and willingness to work proactively, either independently or within a team
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, & MS Powerpoint
