Fast Parts + is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a term position to cover an employee's Maternity leave.

This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to gain a year of office experience, the term would go til mid February/early March 2024.

This position requires someone who is organized and works well under pressure. If you like taking initiative, enjoy working with others and individually, and have a strong attention to detail this could be the job for you

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure supplier invoices are approved
  • Match supporting documentation to invoice
  • Code and enter invoices accurately and timely basis
  • Ensure invoices are properly filed
  • Paying vendors via EFT, Visa and Cheques
  • Answering Phones
  • Reconcile supplier statements to invoices as required

Requirements:

  • Ability to handle a large volume of transactions on a daily basis
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn inhouse computer programs
  • No experience necessary, will train

Compensation:

  • Salary is $39,520 per year ($19.00/hour)
