About the role
As Health Benefits Assessor, you will review, assess, and adjudicate First Nations Health Benefits requests.

This role will process payments and client reimbursements, conduct analysis and provide recommendations regarding exceptions and appeals, provide program information to key stakeholders, and maintain records and systems.


About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Grade 12, including completion of one year of post-secondary education, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Knowledge of First Nations social, health, economic, and political issues.
  • Ability to provide information and advice directly to clients and providers.
  • Knowledge of data entry, manipulation, and retrieval techniques using a variety of automated systems and software.
