Job Description:
In the Account Production Lead, Material Production role, you are experienced in account production across multiple platforms including various methods of print production.
You are a creative self-starter with an ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsiblities- Responsible for managing projects endtoend: from intake to production to final delivery ensuring that the work is brief, on time (providing WBS that is approved by Brand/Production/Design) and on budget.
- Primary point contact for physical production projects. Leading the development of deliveries to support project and campaign goals.
- Working with internal creative team on creative design & recommendation based on expertise in material production
- Lead print production to ensure high quality, cost effective and timely production while being accountable for vendor delivery
- Process and track mockups, prototypes, electronic templates and printer proofs with vendors and our studio or external designers.
- Coordinate planning, production and execution for all projects, while ensuring completion on time and within budget.
- Liaise with client partners/Brand for materials and approvals.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Graduate from a Marketing or Advertising program.
- Experience working in an ad agency, design firm or communications company is an asset.
- Experience in material production development
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively
- Confident in gathering feedback and communicating solutions
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- A creative selfstarter with an ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
- Excellent presentation, organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop professional relationships
- Passionate, committed, outgoing, enthusiastic, reliable and works well within a team environment
- Understanding Adobe editing and design software and systems, and WorkFront (or other project management tool) is an asset.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as the need arises
- Ability to assess scope of work and troubleshoot quickly, and take hands on action as needed
- Adaptability: MLSE is a constantly growing and changing environment, and while processes are required, a fluid approach and willingness to change according to corporate priorities and transitions is necessary.
- Strong knowledge of postal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of the 4colour print production process and offset and digital production methods
- Indepth knowledge of vendor capabilities; sheet fed, web printing and lettershop services; and data services and variable compositions for personalized output
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Dedication to continuous process improvement initiatives
