You lead a team of field sales representatives/managers to ensure execution of the sales strategy and achievement of annual KPIs and targets.
Manage, develop and motivate the team and work closely with the sales capability team to ensure delivery of training to the team.
Create and manage an annual business unit plan to deliver agreed channel revenue KPI's and targets and provide reporting as required.
Manage winning customer business relationships that facilitate "best in industry" execution of our categories.Work closely with key stakeholders including the account team, category, activation team, sales capability and customer finance to provide the optimum return across your region.
Considerable knowledge of market and routes-to-market in which Mondelēz International performsExperience in sales and managing a team of salespeople
Solid knowledge of sales and negotiation processes
You lead a team of field sales representatives/managers to ensure execution of the company's sales strategy and achievement of annual KPIs and retail targets.
You will align with the sales core strategies to maximize revenues, volume and share growth on delivering executional excellence in-store.
Manage, develop and motivate the team throughout the year using a combination of staff meetings, in-store work withs and town hall meetingsManage execution of sales and merchandising strategy on a regional basis to ensure it is on strategy/supportive of the company's sales and marketing plans to help deliver on customer revenue KPIs and regional/national targets
Conduct regular business reviews and provide reporting as required to the head of field sales
Work closely with key stakeholders including but not limited to the customer teams, category management, shopper marketing and sales capability team to best equip the team to best deliver on in-store activation plans.
Manage winning customer business relationships that facilitate "best in industry"in-store execution of our products.
Encourage and promote store compliance to head office approved programs such as retail promotions, plan-o-grams, pricing strategies, display strategies, etc.
Fully understand category and insights knowledge, coaching the team in the use of category tools to engage and influence customers to make informed decisions that will grow our categories and help deliver our annual plan.
Optimize in-store influence and impact through our coverage modelConduct executive market visits and business reviews as required by field sales lead
Advise Perfect store team in translating deep shopper understanding into robust &
Meaninginful in-store solutions that meet key business objectives
Share best practices around field sales force organizations, improvements in sales tools, hot zone activation and impulse
Considerable knowledge of market and routes-to-market within Canada across different retail channels such as grocery and mass merchandisers, drug stores, etc as it pertains to snacking categories
Experience in sales and managing a team of salespeople
Strong organizational and analytical skills , including competency with using MS Office, POS data, AC Nielsen syndicated data and market share information
A future focused mindset, demonstrating curiosity about industry trends, digital solutions and innovation for consumers and translating opportunities into business strategies executable in store
Proven experience within a CPG environment in a sales leadership capacity with demonstrated career growth & some experience managing larger teams (focus on performance management, coaching & motivation of teams)
Key account management experience at HO level
Experience as part of a field sales team is desired
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to set clear & concise direction, be comfortable managing ambiguity and change that comes with it
Budget management exposure
Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and experience with syndicated data and market share (AC Nielsen/IRI, etc)
Bachelor's Degree is required, MBA a plus
Domestic travel required 15-20%
Regular business hours M-F (Hybrid)
