Join Our Team
KPMG's Corporate Finance team in Toronto is seeking a professional with a passion for M&A, capital markets, and a desire to pursue a career in investment banking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of valuation and financial concepts in M&A transactions
  • Establish new relationships with potential clients in target sectors/markets
  • Research, plan, and execute initiatives in new target markets to engage potential clients
  • Manage databases of potential clients, including private equity portfolio companies
  • Cultivate a network of potential clients aligning with strategic market coverage goals
  • Assist in generating creative M&A ideas for tailored client discussions
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, investment banking, or private equity (M&A experience is a plus)
  • Strong financial acumen, including knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
  • Passion for building and nurturing client relationships, excellent communication skills
  • Curiosity and ability to engage in new business opportunities and discussions
  • Commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and taking on new challenges
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to seek guidance when needed
