We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team at Burton Financial. Reporting directly to Cummy Burton, the Assistant will coordinate and deliver exceptional administrative support to Me and my staff.

A valued member of the team, the Assistant manages scheduling to maximize sales opportunities, and helps to create an efficient and compliant office environment.


  • In partnership with the Advisor, develop and execute on plan to meet operational and administrative goals
  • Schedule appointments and manage advisor's workflow (preparation for client meetings, events, tasks, follow up, etc.)
  • Manage office tasks such as filing, Salesforce updates, generating reports, and presentations requiring the use of independent judgement and initiative
  • Manage travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, plan logistics.
  • Support the advisor to create marketing / sales opportunities (mining client data, marketing efforts, client service proactive contact, etc.)
  • Gather and compile production statistics/reports for advisor
  • Support the advisor in monitoring and responding to Head Office inquiries

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Greater Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
