Full time, Days, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay Scale:
Commensurate with education and experience

Location:
Central Services, Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5N 4B3 _(travel between various GEF sites is required, mileage paid)_

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with an organizational learning and development gap analysis
  • Lead the identification of required knowledge, skills and abilities for each position, and contribute to organizational learning and development analysis and planning
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive learning and development plans for each position within the organization, to ensure that staff have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to excel in their roles
  • Collaborate with the portfolios' leadership teams to research, design, implement, sustain, and evaluate workplace learning and development opportunities that enhance staff knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Review and revise existing eLearning modules, training programs, and other learning content, materials, and activities to remain current with industry trends while still promoting and support our mission and strategic direction
  • Develop KPI's to effectively determine the success of new programs and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources Management and/or Adult Learning and Development (Certificate/Diploma)
  • Minimum 5 years education experience
  • PC proficiency and adept at using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience using eLearning software to create engaging training materials. Experience using Articulate 360 is an asset.
  • Ability to tailor communication style to specific audiences, ensuring effective information deliver and engagement
  • Practice understanding of service delivery and adult learning/training modules
  • Strong facilitation skills to engage participants and foster an interactive learning environment

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal record check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
