As a Project Manager, Implementation, your responsibilities entail leading projects within and across our businesses by leveraging analytical and management skills to ensure their timely completion, within scope, and budget.

On a daily basis, you will collaborate with clients to grasp and address their business requirements, analyze existing systems, interface needs, and business processes, guiding them toward the most suitable solutions for their distinct business needs.

To excel in this position, you should be at ease working in a metrics-driven environment, adaptable to change, adept at building rapport with clients, establishing trust, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in your interactions, both verbally and in writing. Your communication style should be clear and easily understandable for clients to act upon - resulting in commendable client satisfaction scores.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Key Responsibilities

What a typical day entails:

  • Manage projects: Oversee project delivery and execution for large, intricate client implementations from inception to hand-off to the Client Service Delivery team. This includes planning, leading, and motivating a diverse team to implement projects supporting ADP Sales.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, identify risks and issues, and leverage Implementation PMO standard best practices and methodology.
  • Internal Collaboration: Engage with project stakeholders, ADP leadership, client project teams, and transfer your PM expertise to other Implementation team members.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, positive relationships with stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors to ensure clear project delivery expectations are defined and met. Establish and nurture referenceable customer relationships.
  • Contribute to enhancing PMO best practices and provide mentorship to Implementation team members. Maintain all project documentation like Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Project Status Report, Lessons Learned, and Post-Implementation Reviews.

TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications

  • PMP certification is a must.
  • 5-8 years of demonstrated project management experience with expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
  • University degree or equivalent work background.
  • Proficiency in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, excellent decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.

*Quebec candidates: Fluency in French is essential for Quebec-based roles. Proficiency in English is also necessary due to the global nature of the role and interactions with ADP's international sites.

BONUS POINTS FOR: Preferred Qualifications

  • Having Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a definite advantage.
