If you are a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist interested in personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an excellent opportunity for you to meet these goals with the support of one of the largest healthcare networks in Canada.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with CBI Health's Community Rehabilitation Services, you will work with an interdisciplinary team to focus on adult and paediatric clients requiring complex care, including those with a variety of physical and psychosocial conditions.

This position is ideal for someone looking to develop or expand their clinical practice.

Take an inside look at what you'll do each day

  • Provide client care in both community and clinic environments
  • Create and contribute to excellence in the client/stakeholder experience
  • Lead patients through individualized care plans, accurately assessing, communicating and providing treatment to facilitate goal attainment for the client
  • Liaise with referral sources and funders to build relationships and ensure clients' needs are met
  • Provide written reports ensuring all documentation is aligned with College and CBI Health standards
  • Contribute to the team through collaboration, demonstrating passion for the work you do and using good judgement and integrity in decision making
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of patient progress
  • Engage in continuous learning and skills development

What you need to be successful

  • Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • 1 to 2 years of community experience is an asset
  • Experience with pediatric and adult brain injury is an asset
  • A willingness to travel and reliable access to your own vehicle
  • Passion for and commitment to your professional development
  • The ability to thrive in a fastpaced and changing environment
  • Dedication to providing the highest quality client care
  • Strong critical thinking, decisionmaking and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with an ability to work independently
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
