Our Next Business Development Manager

Key Accountabilities

  • New Client and Market Development
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Regional Proposal Support

  • Regional Agreement/ Contract Commercial Negotiations

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead profitable revenue growth to meet and exceed annual targets assigned by Okane's leadership team.
  • Develop and nurture professional networks and relationships with government agencies, industry groups, consultants, and the private sector to pursue new leads, opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, nurture existing client relationships, and leverage client relationships to generate new leads and opportunities.
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline aligned with the growth needs of the business, and manage prospective clients through the sales pipeline to successful closing.
  • Identify key client values and decisionmaking criteria, and develop client profiles.
  • Coordinate client feedback and establish timely and effective responses to the feedback.
  • Identify, coordinate and attend regional marketing initiatives like conferences and client events.
  • Contribute to marketing materials like presentations, conference abstracts, white papers, blog articles, brochures, infographics, and videos.
  • Monitor relevant tender and client procurement/prequalification systems.
  • Lead the response to Expression of Interest (EOI) and the development of clienttargeted Statements of Qualification (SOQ).
  • Participate in proposal kickoff meetings and support the development of winning proposal strategies and highquality proposals.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the CRM and proposal management systems.
  • Effectively negotiate contractual terms for new business.
  • Maintain highlevel knowledge and understanding of Okane's business, including service offerings, personnel, and their technical capabilities.
  • Maintain an understanding of Okane's ongoing project schedules and resource availability to ensure that client expectations of scope and/or schedule are met.
  • Coordinate effectively with Okane's operations group to support resource planning.

  • Possess leadership skills and abilities, including communication, accountability, honesty, empathy, creativity, responsibility and flexibility.
