BlackBerry's IoT division is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Legal department, in our business which is on the cutting edge of connected and autonomous vehicles, embedded software and the Internet-of-Things. In this role, you will assist with various contracts, business service support, document processing and research projects. You will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to work independently, willingness to learn, a team focus and a "can do" attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support for various contracts and business services
  • Formatting, basic drafting, and filing of legal documents and agreements
  • Research projects
  • Collaboration with internal teams, as well as vendors, customers, and partners

Skills & Qualifications:

  • University and/or College Degree
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Desire and ability for continuous learning
  • Unwavering team focus
  • Work in-person in BlackBerry's Waterloo office at least 3 days each week
  • One or more year(s) of experience working in an administrative or support function is preferred
