Pay rate - $22 to $25 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Administer file organization tasks, including opening/closing files, data entry, and document uploads.
  • Draft and file correspondence for Court, Justice Services Online, and My Ontario Account.
  • Arrange for examinations, mediations, meetings, and court appearances.
  • Manage Legal Counsels' calendar and practice oversight.
  • Contribute to procedural enhancements and work within a paperless environment.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Legal Assistant in personal injury defense.
  • Familiarity with Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Expertise in software systems like ACL and TeamConnect.
  • Strong document management and organizational skills.
  • High ethical standards, adept at handling sensitive information.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
