THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU:
• Complete the installation of HVAC equipment (furnaces, air conditioners, humidifiers, HRVs, garage heaters, hot water heaters)
• Provide no heat emergency/unscheduled repairs of residential HVAC equipment onsite (we rotate on-call support to our clients)
• Provide proper inventory management of materials and supplies in your vehicle and shop
• Monitor quality of work, train, and supervise an apprentice
• Actively participate in the company Safety Programs and maintain cooperation to OH&S guidelines
• Implement and follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform general clean-up of work sites
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Journeyman or Journeyman certificate
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to communicate with clients clearly about their projects
• First Aid and WHMIS certificates
• Knowledge of local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation
• Possess a valid Alberta driver's license
You must have a strong customer service focus with a keen eye for detail. As in any career, your positive attitude and ability to work effectively will be "key" to your success.
