Key Responsibilities- Monitor and adjust pipeline rates and pump selections to optimize system performance.
- Provide expert advice and feedback on operational constraints and opportunities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Exhibit exceptional troubleshooting skills and sound decision-making abilities to resolve complex issues.
- Collaborate with shift crew, support staff, and external stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
- Make operational changes to pipeline systems, maintaining a strong understanding of pipeline hydraulics and adhering to good operational discipline.
- Respond to emergency conditions and alarms on the SCADA system to protect personnel, environment, and equipment.
- Review and provide input on operating procedure revisions and operational manual updates.
- Generate SAP work request notifications for nuisance alarms or failed equipment.
- Two years of field operations experience.
- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- A valid 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or higher.
- Demonstrated adherence to all environmental health and safety practices, policies, standards, and regulations.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
