Position Description


Reporting directly to the Director, Finance, the Manager, Treasury will be primarily responsible for managing the treasury department and treasury activities including cash management, financial planning & analysis, debt financing compliance and reporting.


Responsibilities:


Lead the Treasury team to ensure timely and accurate cash management, including planning, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting of cash flow across the company.


Responsible for all team management including but not limited to setting performance goals, conducting regular performance evaluations, and providing training and development opportunities.

Monitor compliance with debt covenant requirements and internal control policies related to treasury operations.


Manage the day-to-day cash management of operations collaborating with Director, Finance, tax and accounting teams on cash management activities, including cash positioning, funding, and transfers.

Point person to address banking issues, notifying the bank of changes or amendments to facilitate resolution.

Review the FP&A forecast compilations for reasonability.

Review calculations for Short-term and Long-term Incentive Plans, including Board Compensation, PSU's, DSU's & RSU's.


Manage and review vendor payments and establish financial procedures to ensure adequate internal controls, making recommendations for system and process improvements.

Prepare ad hoc reports, debt/liquidity information, and reports for investor presentations, bank presentations, board, due diligence, earnings releases, etc.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 7 years of related experience in financial management

A minimum of 2 years of proven experience leading, developing and managing a team of treasury professionals.

Professional certification such as Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) is essential.

Sound ability to supervise, coach and guide others while enhancing individual team effectiveness.

Ability to mentor and foster the development of direct reports and respond to changing priorities.


Excellent written and oral communication skills including well developed report writing and presentation skills; ability to communicate complex technical requirements and implications to diverse audiences.

Strong analytical and report development skills.

Strong attention to detail working with a large volume of information.

Advanced level computer skills in MS Excel.

Impeccable eye for detail and accuracy; highly organised.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
