Reporting to:
Director - Quality Assurance and Teleradiology

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement engagement activities to improve and continuously enhance our quality program and initiatives.
  • Assist in creating new policies and reviewing current protocols for areas of improvement, and effectively communicating new policies to applicable parties; address questions as they arise.
  • Responsible for travelling to clinic sites to perform audits and facilitating Ministry of Health/CPSO QA meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure quality of procedures throughout the organization are standardized. Following up with clinic leadership for deficiencies and ensuring to celebrate wins.
  • Updated and maintain tracking systems to ensure project transparency and progress
  • Assist in executing assessment related administrative requirements as it relates to licensed modalities.
  • Provide administrative and program support in the management and day to day operations of the program.
  • Organize, prepare and document all aspects of the Quality Assurance Program including but not limited to meetings, site visits, inquiries, etc.
  • Appropriately schedule Radiologist reading resources via online platform on a monthly basis.
  • Effectively allocate appropriate resources to clinics for reading based on volumes and update as required.
  • Effectively communicate program updates and changes to staff and stakeholders
  • Organize, prepare materials and help facilitate internal meetings to review policy and procedure manuals and track review dates
  • Document and take formal minutes for all program related meetings
  • Contribute to QA Newsletter on a monthly basis by providing departmental updates
  • Provide back up support to the Physician Service Coordinator by tracking, following up and monitoring STAT reports as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

  • Professional and articulate with excellent written & verbal communication
  • Full understanding of Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Track record of initiativetaking and creativity in tackling various types of challenges
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle and available to travel to sites as required (minimum 2x per year each site)
