Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Quality Railings Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Warehouse Operations: Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving and processing shipments, stocking and retrieving inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and other operational challenges.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Work Setting: Repair and maintenance services, installation.
  • Tasks: Organize tasks to accomplish work, plan and organize operational logistics, ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arrange for maintenance and repair work, resolve work problems, provide technical advice, recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, arrange training for staff, co-ordinate, assign and review work, requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, organize and maintain inventory.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, organized, reliability.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
